the toe curling, pounding, teeth clenching kind. the one where you bury your face into the pillow, your fingers clawing the bedsheets, and you stop thinking and just let yourself go completely immersed in nothing else, not the am-i-doing-this-right no tricks no i-think-i-left-the-stove-fire-on. just completely overwhelmed.

and humble yourself in a hug afterwards to remember it is out of love.
